  8. Is Bamjamz® lounge and sleepwear easy to care for?

    Yes, one of the great things about our Bamjamz® Bamboo Organic Stretch Blend fabrics is the no-fuss care and great colour fastness. Bamjamz® fabric care is easy: cold wash inside out, tumble dry low or dry flat. Bamjamz® resist wrinkles and any from folding usually smooth out with a good shake or within a few minutes of being worn. If you would like to iron, please use a low setting. Please do not hang to dry, bleach, dry-clean or iron graphics. We recommend storing folded for best results.

  9. What makes Bamjamz® Bamboo Organic Stretch Blend fabrics so comfortable?

    Bamjamz® fabric is the softest, coziest, most luxuriously comfortable fabric we have found on the market today. It feels like silk and is soft as cashmere. But there is more. Beyond the amazingly soft feel that you experience when you first put it on (almost feels like you are wearing nothing), the fabric has great performance properties that are naturally derived from this remarkable textile. It naturally breathes, regulates temperature (about 2 degrees cooler then cotton when hot and about 2 degrees warmer then cotton when cold), keeps you dry by pulling moisture off your skin, is friendly to allergy prone or sensitive skin, is antistatic and UV resistant. We are in the process of obtaining formal 3rd party certification data on these properties, which have to date been obtained by our suppliers and through research we have conducted. However, at this time we can very confidently say that these performance qualities have been validated by every person we have spoken to who has worn and fallen in love with Bamjamz®.

  10. What about smell? Does Bamjamz® bamboo fabric control odour?

    Bamjamz® Bamboo Organic Stretch Blend fabric has been shown to inhibit odour. Yet, there is debate out in the industry on this one. Some say that it is antibacterial (we have received test reports from our bamboo fibre producer showing that over 95% of bacteria is gone within 24 hours), while others say that it can't be. To be honest, at this time we do not know how it controls odour. What we do know is that all the feedback we have received from people who wear Bamjamz® is consistent in its ability to control odour and not smell after many days of wear, including physical activity. We have also had reports of its ability to not absorb cooking odours. As such it very much appears to be a natural property of the fabric, which means that it does not have to be washed as often and is great for traveling as well.

    Bamjamz® Signature Bamboo Organic Stretch Jersey Knit: 64% viscose (rayon) from bamboo, 28% organic cotton, 8% spandex.
    Bamjamz® SPA Bamboo Organic Stretch French Terry: 53% bamboo, 41% organic cotton, 6% spandex.
